When the wind comes from the south they use my house as a geographic land mark to line up for approach. Horizon is still flying the Dash 8. It was a year ago they were talking of phasing these work horses out from service. My how things have changed.

I haven’t seen them out here in awhile, but I think Horizon was just using them for the Boise flights, which they halted back in April.

No, here’s the worst picture of a Q400...
And, I’m horrified that Horizon compounded their errors of years ago by continuing to fly these POS’s long after they should have been phased out. Even those tightwads at DL long ago went pure-jet in the commuter side of the house.
